Faye Simpson Green Funeral Service LIVE Broadcast

Faye Simpson Green, 95, wife of the late David Coleman "Mike" Green, passed away June 29, 2026 at her home in Anderson County, Kentucky.

Born in Anderson County on June 9, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Adolphus Hamilton Simpson and Lewisie Shouse Simpson.

Faye held a bachelor's degree in education and taught at Glensboro and Anderson County Middle School for several years.  A lifetime member of Glensboro Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school.  Faye was also a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers, Anderson County Homemakers and Quilting Club.

Faye is survived by her sons, Michael David Green, Steven Dwane (Gina) Green, and James Marlowe (Dee Dee) Green; seven grandchildren, Sarah Green-Robinson (Joshua), Jennifer Montavon-Green (Matthew), Emily Arnold (Craig), Andrea Green, David Green, Nicholas Green, and Will Carlton (Jessi); eight great grandchildren, Braxton Green, Natalie Lane, Ollie Robinson, Finnley Robinson, Isaac Green, Kate Carlton, Izzie Carlton, and Harrison Carlton; and eight step-great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her brother, James Hamilton Simpson.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Terry Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5 – 8 PM and after 10 AM Thursday until the time of service.
