Evelyn Sue Dennis Hager, 75, of Lawrenceburg passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2014 at her home. Born August 31, 1939 in Nelson County, KY, she is the daughter of the late Raymond R. and Priscilla Hardin Dennis.

Sue was a 1957 graduate of Western High School and a former employee of The Shoe Factory in Frankfort. A member of the New Life Christian Fellowship Church, she was raised in the Friendship Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and Bible school.

Sue is survived by her husband of 44 years, Eddie Thomas Hager; two children, Chuck Hager and Suzanne Hager, both of Lawrenceburg; two grandchildren, Gabe Imel and Sarah Danielle Smith; two sisters, Janice (Jewell) Sutherland and Sandra Kay Grubbs, both of Lawrenceburg; two brothers, Gary Hardin Dennis of Louisville and Kenneth Ray (Helen) Dennis of Lawrenceburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Bro. Vernon Huber and Bro. Gary Hager will officiate. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery in Anderson County. Visitation will be 4 – 8 pm Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Gabe Imel, Jim Wells, Whitney Beasley, Rob Brandenburg, Dan Hobbs, and Blake Cartwright.
