Evalena "Mickey" Carmickle, 66, of Anderson County, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015 at her home. Born October 29, 1948 in Mercer County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Bowen Walter and Edna Thomas Darland Carmickle.

Mickey was a 1967 graduate of Anderson County High School and worked as a farmer on her family farm. She was baptized at Southland Christian Church in Lexington and enjoyed making crafts.

Survived by her boyfriend, James Munger; three brothers, William Thomas Carmickle and Bowen Edward Carmickle, both of Lawrenceburg, and James Walter (Sandy) Carmickle of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Henrietta Goins of Frankfort and Betty (Scott) Carmickle-Smith of Harrodsburg; two nieces and seven nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday, Feb. 12th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Wednesday.
