Eunice Wiley Searcy, age 105, wife of the late William Thomas Searcy, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 in Mercer County.  Eunice was born April 10, 1917 in Mercer County, KY to the late Thomas "Bud" Smith Wiley and Dessie Newby Wiley.

Eunice was a homemaker, a member of Anderson Christian Church, and a longtime member of Anderson County Homemakers Club.  Eunice enjoyed sewing and reading.

Eunice is survived by her children, Cecelia Brown and husband Glenn of Salvisa, Marion Thomas Searcy and his wife Cheri of Lawrenceburg;  six grandchildren, Jennifer Canary husband Tom, Janice Brown, Holly Goodlett  husband Glenn, Aaron Searcy, Joel Searcy and Micah Searcy;  five great grandchildren, Thomas Canary, Cecille Canary, Dillion Burkhead, Karissa Searcy and Karrigan Searcy.

Including her husband and parents, Eunice was preceded in death by three sisters, Ethel Merryman, Lucille Hawthorne and Martha Naomi Bowen;  four brothers, Jesse Wiley, Alvin Wiley, Calvert Wiley and Earl Wiley.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Vernon Huber officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12 noon till time of service at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday.

Casket bearers will be Aaron Searcy, Micah Searcy, Thomas Canary, Dillion Burkhead, Glenn Goodlett and Tom Canary.
