Eugene Russell Satterly, 86, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Juliette Maddox Satterly. Born April 24, 1929 in Corbin, KY, he was the son of the late Herman and Elizabeth Drury Satterly.

Mr. Satterly was a form employee of General Electric in Louisville and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

He is survived by three sons, William E. Satterly, Scotty A. (Linda) Satterly, and Gayle E. Satterly, all of Lawrenceburg; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, Arnold Sutton of Winchester; and a half sister, Eulene Cook of Corbin.

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Noel Lee Satterly and James Russell Satterly; and several brothers and sisters including Mrs. O.H. (Margie White) Gritton.

Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday, August 13th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. George Dye officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 8 Wednesday.
