Funeral Service Broadcast for Ernie Ray Drury

Ernie Ray Drury, 79, husband of 50 years to the late Brenda Carol Samples Drury, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 at his residence in Anderson County.

Ernie was born November 22, 1943 in Anderson County, KY to the late Jessie Drury and Marey Grider Drury.  Ernie was a former employee with Frankfort Regional Medical Center, and a farmer.  He was a member, and former deacon with Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, and a licensed minister, and former member of the gospel group "One Way To Heaven".

Ernie is survived by three sons, Raymond Charles Drury, Mark Anthony Drury and his wife Amelia Jean, Jessie Scott Drury and his wife Christina, all of Lawrenceburg;  three sisters, Bonnie Casey, Donna Satterly (Eunice) and Jean Sea (Darrell),  all of Lawrenceburg;  seven grandchildren, Pamela Young (Wesley), Zachary Drury (Kelly), Jacob Drury, Drew Drury, Mason Drury, Hannah Drury and Abby Kate Drury, and several great grandchildren.

Including his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Eva Mae, Beulah and Ulea Drury, Pauline White , Marie Spaulding, and Juanita Freeman;  two brothers, Alvin and Slick Drury.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Chesser officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2023 from 5 - 8 P.M. and after 9 A.M. till time of service Tuesday.
