Ernest Rondle Massingill, 90, of Frankfort, husband of the late Barbara Ann Hawkins Massingill, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Bradford Square Nursing Home in Frankfort, KY.

Born February 26, 1929 in Middlesboro, KY, Ernest was a retired U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion and VFW.  He enjoyed working on computers and spending time with his wife Barbara, who passed away Oct. 23, 2019.

Ernest is survived by a son Dave R. Massingill and his wife Jane R. of Frankfort and a grandson, Johnathan Massingill.

Cremation was chosen.  There will be no public services.  Burial of Ernest's cremains will be in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
