Ellen June Heilman Mountjoy, 72, of Lawrenceburg passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at Heritage Hall Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Houston Yost Brown.

Born July 3, 1942 in Cincinnati, OH, June worked for KY State Government for 34 years retiring as a records analyst with the Administrative Office of the Courts. She was a member of the Alton Christian Church, the Quilt Guild, Extension Office Homemakers, and the Wheels of Time Car Club.

June is survived by her husband of 41 years, David J. Mountjoy; her daughter, Cynthia June (Vernon) Caldwell of Lawrenceburg; a grandson, William Grant Caldwell; and a brother, James Elwood (Emita) Brown of Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, Nov. 10th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Noal Cotton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 – 8 pm on Sunday.

Todd Elliott, Jerry Gordon, Bruce Caldwell, Billy Crawford, Kenny Smith and Anthony Lewis will serve as pallbearers.

The family requests donations in memory of June to the Alton Christian Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
