Elizabeth Gravitt Funeral Service Broadcast

Elizabeth Helen "Teedie" Clifton Gravitt, 91, wife of the late Grover Turner Gravitt, Sr., passed away, Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was from the small town of Midway and the daughter of parents William Risque Clifton and Nora Lee Stephens Clifton.

Along with her parents she was proceeded in death by step-sister Billie Jean Giles.

Teedie was a graduate of Midway High School in Midway, she then went on to marry her husband and took pride in being a homemaker. Whether sewing, cooking, or candy making, she was a true jack of all trades. She was an avid UK basketball fan and attended Lawrenceburg Community Baptist Church. Most of all she loved her family and dedicated her life to being a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.

Teedie is survived by her three children Grover "Turner" Gravitt, Jr. (Dee) of Henrico, North Carolina, Nora "Jayne" Wise (Ted) of Lawrenceburg, and Randal Cleveland "Randy" Gravitt (Dana) of Lawrenceburg; eight grandchildren, Ashley Burchett (Stephen) of Frankfort, Lydia Gravitt of Louisa, KY, Josh Gravitt (Katelyn) of Richmond, VA, Julie Wise-Case (Chad) of Lawrenceburg, Jessi Drury (Brandon) of Lawrenceburg, Drew Gravitt (Kasey) of Lawrenceburg, Derek Gravitt of Lawrenceburg, and Mikayla Marshall (Zac) of Lawrenceburg; seven great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, Sept.19th and after 10 AM Wednesday, Sept. 20th until the time of service at Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home.  The Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday also at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Broughton and Teedie's family officiating. A graveside service will follow at Lawrenceburg Cemetery, in Lawrenceburg.

Teedie's children and grandchildren will be serving as pallbearers.
