Helen Elizabeth McMurry Bryant, age 99, wife of the late Willard Emerson Bryant, passed away November 30, 2022 at her home.  She was born in Anderson County, KY on September 4, 1923, daughter to the late John Stanley McMurry and Lucy Mae Hawkins McMurry.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her two sons, Robert E. Bryant and Dr. William "Bill" Stanley Bryant; and her siblings Irvin McMurray, Katherine Smith, and an infant sister Margaret Gladys McMurry.

Elizabeth worked over 30 years for the former Austin Nichols Distillery in Lawrenceburg.  She was a member of the First Christian Church where she served on the bereavement meal committee for years.  A vibrant person throughout her life, she dearly loved her family.  Until the age of 97 she enjoyed watching and attending her grandchildren's ballgames and activities.

Survivors include her two daughters-in-law, Barbara Bryant, Janet Bryant Sutherland (husband Gary); four grandchildren, Traci B. Hyatt (Bobby), Robert Todd Bryant (Amanda), Ronda B. Franck (Kevin), and Chris Nelson Bryant; four great grandchildren, Luke Hawkins, Clay Hawkins, Will Franck and Emily Franck; and two great grandchildren, Payton and Olivia Sparrow.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 3 – 6 PM followed by the service beginning at 6:00 PM Saturday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Rev. Jim Wheeler will officiate the service.  Cremation will follow services.
