Eleanor Virginia "Ginger" Collins Timmins, age 65, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the V. A. Medical Center in Lexington. Born August 6, 1950 in Frankfort, KY, she was the daughter of the late J. D. and Martha Brandenburg Collins.

Ginger formerly worked as a Certified Respiratory Therapist at Berea Hospital, V.A. Medical Center in Lexington, and Bluegrass Community Hospital in Versailles. She served in the U. S. Army and formerly enjoyed playing golf.

She is survived by a son, Taylor McBrayer Collins of Lawrenceburg; a sister Rachael Carlton (Lynn) of Lawrenceburg; a brother, Danny Collins (Missy) of Lawrenceburg; half sister, Edith Shouse (Raymond) of Versailles; half brother, David Howard (Bobbie Jean) of Frankfort; special friend, Linda Daly; and several nieces and nephews.

Ginger chose cremation. A Celebration of Ginger's Life will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015 at her home, 1116 Ninevah Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY from 2 - 4 pm.
