Edward "Eddie" M. Gibson, 72, passed away on July 19, 2026, at his home in Lawrenceburg. He was born April 10, 1954, in Mercer County, Kentucky to the late Charles Gibson and Doris Driscoll Gibson.

Eddie is survived by three daughters; Melissa (Michael) Henry of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Jennifer (Rusty) Dillon of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Hope (Chris) Pry of Louisville, Kentucky, a sister; Joyce Gibson Rivera of Fort Meyers, Florida, a brother Donald "Donnie" Gibson (Cricket) of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and his grandchildren; Colin McStay, Catherine McStay, Ayden Haney, Alexis Haney, Anastasia Haney, and Kacie Pry.

Along with his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Leon Gibson, Jr., and a granddaughter, Katlyn McStay.

Eddie loved his family, friends, and fishing.

In keeping with Eddie's wishes, cremation was chosen, and no services are planned.
