Edward David George, 86, husband of Sylvia Ann George, passed away June 5, 2025, at his home in Lawrenceburg, KY. Born in Chicago, Illinois on September 26, 1938, he was the son of the late Harold George and Maurie George.

Edward was born in Chicago and lived there until he enlisted in the Army in 1958. He was a member of the military police during his service and was discharged a few years later. After his service he went on to live in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. It was in Florida where he met his wife of 43 years, Sylvia George. There he worked as a warehouse employee at Smith and Nephew where he eventually retired from.

Edward is survived by his wife, Sylvia Ann George of Lawrenceburg; his daughter, Teresa Ross of Florida; a stepdaughter, Lisa McQuinn of Lawrenceburg, a stepson, Richard Hartnett of Indiana; and his Grandchildren, David and Jason McQuinn.

Cremation was chosen and no services will be held.
