Edna Mae Searcy Driskell, 97, of Anderson County passed away Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Jasper Clark "Sparky" Driskell. Born April 23, 1917 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Nancy Hester Smith.

Mrs. Driskell is survived by three sons, Rodger C. (Betty) Driskell, Harry W. (Diane) Driskell, and Stephen (Merry) Driskell, all of Anderson County; four daughters, Nancy (Renny) Cox, Vena (Raymond) Bowen, both of Harrodsburg, Patsy Brown of Lawrenceburg, and Rosemary (John) Sewell of Frankfort; a son-in-law David Stierle of Louisville; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents, Mrs. Driskell was preceded in death by two daughters, Roxie Loggins and Billie Stierle, a son Daren Driskell, a grandson Logann Stephen Shane Driskell, a great grandson Noah Wayne Russell, and a sister Nannie McCarty.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, Feb. 9th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Dedman officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 – 7 PM Sunday.

Mrs. Driskell's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
