Earl Lee Chilton, 79, of Salvisa, Kentucky, widower of Patricia Ann Sims Chilton, passed away Friday, August 30, 2024. Earl was born on April 9, 1945 in Frankfort, Kentucky to the late Earl McCoy Chilton and Lena Katherine Short Chilton.

Earl was a member of Claylick United Methodist Church in Salvisa. He was a graduate of Mercer County High School and was known for his deep passion for farming and his enjoyment of horseback riding.

Earl is survived by a daughter, Tammy Louise Chilton (James) Gill of Nicholasville; three brothers, J.D. Chilton of Anderson County, B.R. (Kathy) Chilton, and Lois Von Chilton all of Mercer County; five sisters, Alice Faye McGaughey of Lawrenceburg, Lena Caroline Catlett of Lawrenceburg, Clara Reese Bleier of Versailles, Marie (David) Combs of Mercer County, and Christine Nichols of Salvisa; two grandchildren, Lena Ann Chilton Bryant and Dustin Lee Gill; two step-grandchildren, James Michael Gill and Brandon Thomas Gill; two great grandchildren; and six step-great grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at the Salvisa Baptist Church CLC Building in Salvisa.
