E. Gordon Clark, 79, of Lawrenceburg, husband of 43 years of Mae "Pinkie" Trent Clark, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the V.A. Medical Center, Lexington, KY. Born December 15, 1935 in Anderson County, KY, he was the son of the late W. M. and Rosa Lee Roberts Clark.

Gordon attended Eastern KY University, served four years in the U.S. Navy, and a graduate of the California College of Mortuary Science. He retired as an admitting employee of the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington, worked 12 years as a driver for the Central KY Funeral Limousine Association, a former employee of the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of the Anderson Christian Church and the Builders Sunday School Class.

Along with his wife, Gordon is survived by three children, Jennifer (John) Legg of Huntington Beach, CA, Lynita McWaters of Paducah, and Amy (Billy) Fint of Lawrenceburg; 5 grandchildren, Jake, Joey, and Jimmy Legg, Matthew Fint, and Heather (Chris) Groothedde; 3 great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Connor Groothedde, and Elsie Fint; and a brother, Tony (Nancy) Clark of Lawrenceburg. Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric Gordon Clark and an infant brother, Wayne Morris Clark.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, March 31st at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Ministers Vernon Huber and Brandon Dulaney officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be 4 -8 pm Monday.

Pallbearers will be Tony Clark, Billy and Matthew Fint, Chris Groothedde, Bobby Ritter, and Calvin Bowen. Honorary bearers will be Walter Hays, Junior Basham, Tony Fields, Bruce Quire, John Hume, Bill and Brian Shouse, Vernon Houtz, Tony Tidei, and Brad Mitchell.
