Drucilla Gritton Funeral Service Broadcast

Drucilla Casey Gritton, 90, wife of the late Jesse Garnett "Bud" Gritton, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Heritage Hall in Lawrenceburg. Drucilla was born on December 15, 1933 in Nelson County, KY to the late Ronald Casey and Catherine Proctor Casey.

Drucilla was a member of First Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, where she cherished her time with the Fidelis Sunday School Class. A proud graduate of Western High School in Anderson County, Drucilla dedicated 32 years of her life as the school's secretary, retiring in 1997. Her passion for reading, cooking, sewing, and crocheting enriched the lives of those around her. She adored her family, whose love and memories will forever honor her vibrant spirit.

Along with her husband and parents, Drucilla was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Eugene Casey and Keith Wayne Casey; a brother-in-law, Orbrey H. "June" Gritton, Jr.; and sister-in-laws Linda Casey, Dorothy McMichael, and Agnes Peach.

Drucilla is survived by her children, Lynn (wife Lynne Marie) Gritton, Blaine (wife Lorrie) Gritton, and Kelly Gritton (fiance BJ Waldridge) all of Lawrenceburg; siblings, Leroy Casey of Long Mont, CO and Debbie Byrd of Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren, Jesse (wife Tracy) Gritton, Katie (husband Kris) Churchman, Anthony Gritton, Adam (wife Tiffany) Gritton, Wesley (wife Katie) Gritton, Katrina Gritton, Kasey Gritton, and Jake Browning; great grandchildren, Kylie Gritton, Sydney Gritton, Jaydon Gritton, and Ryder Gritton; brother-in-laws Jerry (wife Judy) Gritton, Larry (wife Linda) Gritton; and sister-in-laws Linda Baxter and Juanita Gritton.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Gritton and Dr. Bob Ehr officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Gritton, Kris Churchman, Anthony Gritton, Adam Gritton, Wesley Gritton, and Jake Browning. The First Baptist Church Fidelis Sunday School Class will serve as honorary bearers.
