Dorothy "Dottie" Howser Gritton, 70, of Lawrenceburg, wife of Glen Allen Gritton, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 at her home. Born May 31, 1947 in Franklin County, Kentucky, Dottie was the daughter of the late Charles and Ann Wright Howser.

Dottie retired as an administrative assistant for the KY Department of Natural Resources. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Along with her husband, Dottie is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Ashley Miller; three grandchildren, Zoe Avery of Lawrenceburg, Olivia Haney of Frankfort, and Sophia Avery of Frankfort; step children, Brian (Kelly) Gritton and Jennifer (Don) Miller; four step grandchildren, Addie and Camden Miller, and Sam and Gabe Gritton; one sister, Charlet "Pepsi" (Frank) Sonderman of Lexington. Along with her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Miller.

Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
