Mary Dorresia Long Kincaid, 70, passed away December 30, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY.   Born in Danville, KY on April 1, 1952, she was the daughter of the late James Melvin Long and Clydia Janette Bruner Long Wilson.

Dorresia was a selfless and loving woman who would help anyone in need. Aside from her passion for cooking, she had a love for crocheting, animals, cardinals, hummingbirds, flowers, Elvis and UK basketball.

Dorresia's love for her only son, Stevie Kincaid, was unsurpassed and let it be known by anyone who knew her. In addition to her son Stevie and his wife Tasha, she is survived by her four grandchildren, Jordan (Chelsey) Kincaid, Dalton Sutherland, Lucas Kincaid, and Kayla (David) Owens; five great grandchildren, Colton, Chase, Jayce, Lacey and Aubree; a sister, Zora Long of Lawrenceburg; a brother, Roger Long of Harrodsburg; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Debbie and Walter Riley, who meant the world to her.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 6, 2023 beginning at 2:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Randy Peyton will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg, KY.  Visitation will be Thursday from 5 – 8 PM and after 11 AM Friday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Sutton, Jordan Kincaid, Dalton Sutherland, Jamie Kinder, Juan Martinez, and Donald Perry. Honorary bearers will be Lucas Kincaid, Walter and Debbie Riley, Harry Lee Fint, Dawn Lewis, Megan Bwambale, Hope Riley, and Santana Martinez.
