Dorothy Lucille Melear Stucker, 93, wife of the late Harley Walter Stucker, passed away December 7, 2022 at U of L Shelbyville Hospital.  Born in Anderson County, KY on July 6, 1929, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Herbert Ellis Melear and Elva Mitchell Melear.

A 1946 graduate of Lawrenceburg City High, Dorothy was a former employee of Webster Electric, Edward's Sausage, and a bus monitor for the Anderson County Board of Education.  She was a member of Hope Community Church.

Survivors include her three children, Herbert (Sandy) Stucker of Spencer County, Mike (Nancy) Stucker and Cheri (Edward) Curtsinger, both of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren, Wendie (Steve) Beswick, Chris Stucker, Patrick (Andrea) Stucker, Jason (Roni) Stucker, Travis (Amy) Curtsinger, Shauna (Jimmie) Smith, Melanie (Matt) Hager; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.  Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie Curtsinger Emmons.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm followed by the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm Monday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Dr. Jeff Eaton will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Curtsinger, Jason Stucker, Pat Stucker, Chris Stucker, Matthew Hager, Steve Beswick, and Jimmie Smith.  Honorary bearers will be Amy Curtsinger, Roni Stucker, Andrea Stucker, Wendie Beswick, Melanie Hager, and Shauna Smith.
