Dorothy Ann Woods Boyd, 73, wife of the late Charles Eugene Boyd, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at her residence.  Dorothy was born January 9, 1948 in Cotton Valley, LA to the late William Woods and Dorothy Powell Woods.

Dorothy was a long time employee of Heritage Hall Signature Care in Lawrenceburg and attended Tyrone Baptist Church.  Dorothy enjoyed collecting whatnots of any kind and feeding stray animals.

Dorothy is survived by her son, William Charles "Charlie" Boyd and his wife Melissa of Lawrenceburg;  a daughter, Tonya Ann Raikes and her boyfriend Dennis Glenn of Conway, Arkansas;  a sister, Alma Alvarado of Lafayette, Indiana;  eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen with a private burial of Dorothy's cremains at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
