Dora Pauline (Brown) Hardin, 66, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at her home. Born April 11, 1952 in Shelby County, KY, Dora was the daughter of the late Forest Everett Brown, Jr. and Jessie Marie (Davis) Brown.

Along with her parents, Dora was preceded in death by a daughter, Krista Jo Grace; two sisters, Helen Toppass and Ana Elizabeth Brown; and three brothers, Joe Willis Brown, Grover Lee Brown, and Donald Alfred Brown.

Dora was a retired bus driver for the Anderson County Board of Education and Woodford County Board of Education. A member of the Westside Community Church, Dora enjoyed shopping and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Mary (James) Jarrell, Tracy (Terry) Durham, and Charles E. (Summer) Grace, Jr., all of Lawrenceburg; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and a brother, Forest T. Brown of Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 beginning at 11:00 AM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Bro. F.D. Robinson, Jr. and Bro. Gayle Brown will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 PM on Monday.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Toppass, Joseph Jarrell, Timmy Terrell, James Dalray Jarrell, Johnathan Jarrell, Steven Ellis, David Kuhn, and Rob Mayberry.  Honorary bearers will be Dora's grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
