Donnie Evans, 67, passed away May 17, 2025, at his home in Lawrenceburg. Born in Versailles, KY, on July 26, 1957, Donnie was the son of the late Clinton Edward Evans and Mary Elizabeth Montgomery Evans.

Donnie was a member of First Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg. He was self-employed as a vinyl siding contractor and spent many years working in the construction industry. Donnie attended Western Anderson School and developed a lifelong passion for classic cars—he loved going to car shows and sharing that joy with others. He also loved going to the drag races and watching old westerns. Above all, Donnie cherished the time he spent with his family, always placing them at the center of his life.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jill Marie Evans; his siblings, Brenda Perry, Connie Kinder, and Buddy Evans; and his brother-in-law, Melvin Hobbs.

Donnie is survived by a daughter, Kristie Evans of Salvisa, KY; two grandchildren, Garet and Mikayla Watts of Salvisa, KY; and siblings, Carlotta (Willis) Hatchett, Clinton Edward (Shirley) Evans, Jr., Leon (Terri) Evans, Deborah Hobbs.

Visitation will be held from 11 AM – 2 PM, Friday, May 23, 2025, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home followed by the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM, Friday.  Dr. Bob Ehr will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Leon Evans, Clinton Evans, Jr., Barron Hawkins, Jessie Ward, Garet Watts, and Dale Waldridge.
