Donald Todd Hill, Sr., 83, husband of the late Carolyn Mae Gibson Hill, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born December 1, 1933 in Bloomfield, KY, Donald was the son of the late Charles Prather and Hannah Elizabeth Kobb Hill.

Mr. Hill was a retired auditor for the Health & Human Services Division of the U.S. Federal Government. He received a degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. A member and former trustee of the Freedom Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, Mr. Hill was known for his gardening green thumb and his love of U.K. Basketball.

His survivors include five children, Crystal Bedini (husband Bill) of Paris, Candy Caldwell (husband Shawn), Carmen Coulter (husband Steve), Donald Todd Hill, Jr. (wife Connie) and Allen Tyler Hill (wife Lori), all of Lawrenceburg; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23rd beginning at 1:00 PM at the Freedom Baptist Church, 1010 Powell Taylor Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY. Pastors Steve Wells and Chris Parrish will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Willisburg Cemetery in Washington County with military honors. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4 – 8 PM and after 9 AM Friday, all at the Freedom Baptist Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Crystal Bedini, Candy Caldwell, Carmen Coulter, Todd Hill, Tyler Hill, Austin Coulter, Jacob Hill, and Kristi Ritchey. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Bedini, Shawn Caldwell, Steve Coulter, Lori Hill, Connie Hill, Billy, Louise, and Tommy Sprigg.
