Deven Denise (Toles) Brown, 52, of Frankfort, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born September 19, 1966 in Frankfort, KY, Deven is the daughter of Clifford and Dorothy Lee (Peach) Toles of Frankfort.

Deven retired as an Internal Policy Analyst for the KY Dept. of Mine Safety & Licensing. She currently worked as a secretary for the Lawrenceburg Police Department and also at Churchill Downs and Keeneland. A 1984 graduate of Western Hills High School in Frankfort, Deven was a member of the Capital City Christian Church and the SEIU Local #541. She enjoyed boating, the outdoors, sewing, traveling, woodworking, photography, and working with her hands.

Along with her parents, Deven is survived by her two children, Joshua Lawrence (Emily) Brown of Frankfort and Lauren Denise Brown (Josh Wells) of Lawrenceburg; a grandson, Grayson Lawrence Brown; two sisters, Shelly Delane Toles (Chrissy Jones) of Bagdad and Darlene (Tab) Erwin of Lawrenceburg; two nieces, Brittany (Chris) Beach and Morgan (Eric) Skaggs; great nieces and nephews, Olivia and Kaden Beach, Carson, Macy and Nolan Skaggs.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 5 ^th beginning at 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg. John Sutphin will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 8 PM and after 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Brown, Josh Wells, Charlie Harrod, Scott Tracy, Jeff Abrams, Eric Skaggs, Chris Beach, and Artie Stratton.
