David M. Kikendall, 78, husband of 55 years to Judith A. Kikendall, passed away November 2, 2020.  Born March 28, 1942 in Chicago, IL, David was the son of the late Melvin Spendal Kikendall and Catherine Murphy Kikendall.

Including his parents, David was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Megan Nicole Kikendall.

A nine year resident of Kentucky, David retired as a computer programmer for the State of Illinois Department of Revenue, and served his country in the U.S. Air Force.  He was a man of faith and enjoyed electronics, keyboards, machining, and built two homes.

Along with his wife, David is survived by his sons, Mark Allen Kikendall and his wife Donda of Lawrenceburg and Kevin John Kikendall and his wife Paula Clark of Zebulon, NC; his grandson, Luke Alexander Kikendall of NC; a sister, Mary Horner of Springfield, IL; and three brothers, Dan (wife Terry) Kikendall of FL, Dennis (Judy) Kikendall of NC, and Larry (Joyce) Kikendall of FL.

Private family services will be held at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Rev. Jim Wheeler will officiate the service.  Entombment will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
