David Allen Cox, 41, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at the U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY.  Born April 15, 1980 in Campbellsville, KY, David was the son of the late Elbert R. Cox, Sr. and Debra Lynn Angel Stewart.

David formerly worked as a mechanic and as a farm hand for David Mountjoy Farms.  He enjoyed and loved his kids and animals.

He is survived by his children, Hunter Cox of Lexington and David Isaic Cox of Salvisa;  his brothers, Elbert Cox of Junction City and Danny Cox of Lawrenceburg; a niece Jordan; and his nephews, Dylan, Danny Jr., Jairus, Nicholas, Dallas, Dakota, and Austin Cox.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 – 7 PM Wednesday, Nov. 17 ^th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
