Cora Esther Durr Inman, 82, of Lawrenceburg, wife of 60 years of George "Zeke" Inman, Jr., passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born January 10, 1933 in Anderson County, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Russell Durr and Mary Ellen Curtsinger Durr and step-daughter of Lottie Durr.

Cora retired as a supervisor for the Dept. of Agriculture with KY State Government and was a member of the First Christian Church. Cora served as a member and Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Hamilton Chapter #293. She served as Grand Adah from 1975-76 and as Worthy Grand Matron of the Grand Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star from 1991-92. A former member of the Business and Professional Women's Club, Cora served as President of the Lawrenceburg Club as well as the district and she also served as the district deputy.

Including her parents, Cora was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Cunningham and Hadgie Carter.

Along with her husband Zeke, Cora is survived by two daughters, Alice Inman of Louisville and Jody Inman (Tim) Perry of Lawrenceburg; three grandsons, Jared Denney of Cincinnati, Jordan Denney of Denver, CO, and John Denney of Lexington; a great granddaughter, Rylee Brooke Gammon of White Hall, IL; three step sisters, Evelyn (Charles) Williams of Richmond, Beulah Hockersmith of Lawrenceburg, and Shirley Parrot of Bardstown; a step brother Bobby (Brenda) Drury of Bardstown; two special nieces, Felita (John) Giles and Suzan (Bob) Bowling, both of Lawrenceburg; and a special friend, Yvonne Thornberry.

Funeral services beginning with Eastern Star Rites will be 6:00 pm Saturday, Nov. 14th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Eaton officiating. Visitation will be from 2 -6 pm Saturday. Graveside services will be 11 am Monday, Nov. 16th at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County, KY.
