Connie Sue Drury, age 75, passed away on March 1st.  Connie was born June 9, 1947 in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky to Stanley and Mary Jane. Perry, of Lawrenceburg.  Connie Sue graduated from Anderson Co. High School in 1965, then in 1967, graduated from Bryant & Stratton Business School. A year later, she was married to Connie Lynn Drury, also of Lawrenceburg. Sharing the name Connie led to many funny stories and temporary confusion.

Connie Sue spent many years as a loyal and hardworking employee of YKK. She was a faithful and reliable member of Corinth Christian Church where she could be found every Sunday morning, Sunday evening, Wednesday evening, or whenever there was a need. Her faith brought her great hope and sustained her in life.

Connie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Connie Lynn Drury and their sons Jeffery and Patrick.  Jeff is married to Cathie and they have two sons, Zachary and Nicholas. Their youngest son, Patrick and his wife Sara have one son, Jack Henry.

Though not related, Matthew and Paula Sawyer were like children to Connie Sue.  Matt and Paula have three children.  Their oldest daughter Taylor is married to Jordan Settles and they have three daughters Blair, Sawyer and Parker.  Their son Brady is married to Shelby White. Matt and Paula's youngest daughter is Sydney.

Connie Sue's family would like to thank all her doctors for their outstanding care over the past 5 years. They would also like to say thank you for the outpouring of love from family and friends.

Connie Sue was funny and fiesty and could always be counted on to speak to strangers, make friends with waiters, and lovingly tease old friends. Saying she will be missed doesn't seem to cover it.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Corinth Christian Church with Bro. Matt Sawyer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation 4 – 8 PM Monday and after 11 Tuesday at Corinth Christian Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ron Gash, Ed Gash, Roger Carlton, Jason Fedderson, Clarence Perkins, and Larry Drury.  Honorary bearers will be Betty Ann Shewmaker, Sandra Jackson, Wanda Trent, Cheri Howell, Brenda Gritton, Rita Phillips, Pam Hutton, and Cookie Spencer.
