Alexander "Clay" Hawks, age 75, husband of 38 years to Alice Faye Bloomingburg Hawks, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022.  Clay was born August 13, 1946 in Jackson, TN to the late Talmadge Franklin Hawks and Marie Katherine Brockman Hawks.

Clay was a member of the Lawrenceburg Church of Christ, and former owner and operator of Clays Printer Repair, and a U.S. Army veteran.  Clay enjoyed watching Nascar Racing and riding motorcycles in previous years.

Including his wife Alice, Clay is survived by his daughter, Angelique Nicole Chrisman (Steve Anderson) of Lawrenceburg;  a granddaughter, Retta Marie Chrisman;  a step grandson, Braxton Chrisman;  his mother-in-law, Virginia Bloomingburg of Benton, KY;  a brother, Frank Hawks of Lexington, KY;  and a sister, Linda Sue Hawks of Cincinnati, OH;  two sisters-in-law, Anita Bloomingburg of Benton, KY and Phebe Bloomingburg of Franklin, TN.

Including his parents, Clay was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold & Danny Hawks.

Graveside service with military honors will be held for Clay at 12:30 P.M., Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County  with Bro. Burt Paden officiating.
