Clarence Calvin Willhoite, 86, passed away November 1, 2023 at his home in Lawrenceburg.  Born in Nicholasville, KY on April 11, 1937, he was the son of Andrew and Sylvia Johnson Willhoite.

Clarence was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Martha Irene Stacy Willhoite and his second wife Thelma May Trusty Willhoite.  He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Cody Shane Willhoite, and siblings, Roger Dale Johnson, Delbert Willhoite, and Doris Murphy.

Clarence retired following 30 years of service as a Master Plumber for the University of Kentucky.  He enjoyed CB radios and was known by his handle as the "Country Preacher."

He is survived by his children, Joseph Calvin (wife Susan) Willhoite, Patricia G. (husband Terry) Mattingly, and Angela K. (husband James) Brown, all of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren, Ashley Nicole (Cayla) Mattingly, Jacob Kyle Brown, Austin Ray (Lanie) Mattingly, Joshua Logan (Claire) Brown, and Levi Willhoite; his grandson Cody's wife Elizabeth Willhoite, a sister, Wanda Elam of Xenia, OH; and a sister-in-law, Liz Johnson.

Private family services are being held at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
