Christopher Albert Guzicki, 64, husband of Tresa Dowell Guzicki, passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2025. He was born on August 18, 1960, in South Bend, IN, to Judie Burnham Guzicki and the late Albert S. Guzicki.

He was a dedicated employee of Associations International, where he worked for 18 years in Print and Production. Chris lived life with energy, enthusiasm, and a deep love for the outdoors and staying active. A lifelong athlete and avid runner, he had the honor of qualifying for the 1980 Olympics—though the games were ultimately canceled. However earlier, in 1979, he proudly competed in the Pan American Games in San Juan, Puerto Rico. His competitive spirit extended into many areas of his life, including cycling, mountain biking, and his love of soccer, especially as a loyal supporter of Arsenal F.C.. Chris also studied karate at Scott Brown Karate Academy and enjoyed spending time improving his home with various DIY, handy-man projects. More recently, he developed a passion for bourbon and was known as the family chef—a role he embraced with pride and a love of providing for his family.

Including Tresa, his wife of 40 years, he is survived by his children, Jonathon Guzicki (partner Kaitlin Keane), Benjamin Guzicki, and Alison Guzicki (husband Keaton Todd); his siblings, Mark Guzicki (wife Karen), Audrey Ervin (husband Jeffrey), Jennifer Moschiano, Eric Guzicki (wife Susie), and Janice Stahl (husband Jeff); and his brothers-in-law, Mike Dowell and Randy Dowell (wife Leslie).

A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, with Chris' family giving the eulogy. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.

Chris was so passionate about cycling and mountain biking.
