Funeral Service Broadcast for Charlotte Waldridge

Charlotte Kay Kuykendoll Waldridge, 78, widow of Donnie Wayne Waldridge, Sr., passed to her Heavenly home on January 21, 2025 at U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY.  Born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 15, 1946, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Paul F. and Betty Timler Kuykendoll.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Wayne "Bub" Waldridge, Jr., a grandson, Dustin Wayne Drury; and her siblings, Joyce Sewell, Paul Kuykendoll, and Doug Chaney.

A retired welder for Square D Company, Charlotte was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church.  Her many loves included her church, U.K. Basketball, crafting, flowers in her yard, collecting Tiger trinkets, and singing Gospel music.  But her greatest love was for her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Rhonda Wheatley, Tonya McKinney, Jerry Waldridge, Gwen (Ricky) Carpenter, and Angel Waldridge; 15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie (Gary) Sallee of Irvine and Janet Parish of Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 27, 2025 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Pastors Mark Studler and Kenny Robinson will officiate the service.  Burial will follow at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4 – 7 P.M., Sunday and after 11 A.M. Monday till time of service at 1:00 P.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wyatt Drury, Jamison Hopper, Gavin Hatchell, Bentley Jones, Clayton Conway, Dakota Waldridge, Brandon Holt, and Kamron Jewell.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Full Gospel Assembly of God Church, 1375 Harrodsburg Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
