Charles Allen "Charlie" Sutherland, age 85, husband of 53 years to Betty Ann Garland Sutherland, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024. Charles was born September 15, 1939 in Anderson County, Kentucky to the late Charlie Amous Sutherland and Fannie Mae Hawkins Sutherland.

Including his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Ray Sutherland and a half-brother, William Thomas Bickers.

Charles was a retired Concrete Dump Truck Driver for IMI, a former employee with Lawrenceburg Supply and a member of the Full Gospel Assembly of God.  Charles enjoyed watching westerns and was a people person, never meeting a stranger.  He loved to eat and ride motorcycles and was known to take off on trips with his wife Betty just to find a restaurant to eat at. Charles loved the concrete business and while traveling would often try to locate concrete plants in the areas they went through.

Including his wife Betty, Charles is survived by his children, Jason Lee Sutherland, Travis Allen Sutherland, both of Lawrenceburg, Joy Whisman (Russ) of Frankfort and Benita Watkins of Lawrenceburg; six grandchildren, Brenden, Allie, Ethen, Caleb, Cody and Dyllen; and his beloved dog, D.J.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Robinson and Bro. Don Carter officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday until the service at 1:00 P.M.
