Charles Richard Redman, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at his residence in Lawrenceburg, KY. He was born in Hardin County, KY, on May 14, 1959, to the late Charles Wilkerson Redman and Hildegard "Hilda" Edith Kitzelmann Redman.

Charles was a devoted member of Alton Baptist Church, where he actively participated in the Praise Sunday School Class and lived a life deeply rooted in faith. A proud veteran, he served in the Army National Guard and retired after many years of dedicated service. Most recently, he worked as a skilled helicopter mechanic through Tyonek at the Boone National Guard Center in Frankfort. Charles found joy in simple pleasures—he was an avid bowler, taking part in a league at Capital Bowl, and loved spending time fishing. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his two granddaughters, who brought him endless happiness and pride.

Along with his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Tobias Redman.

Charles is survived by his fiancé, Shari Dutton of Lawrenceburg; his two sons, Charles "Chuck" Richard Redman, Jr. of Frankfort and Mark Joseph Redman of Georgetown; his granddaughters, Sophia Redman and Mathilda; and his siblings, Gary Allen Redman of Canton, OH, Angela Deitsch-Redman of Lawrenceburg, and Cathy Ann Redman Peach (Henry) of Lawrenceburg.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Ellcessor officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 PM on Tuesday, April 29, and after 10 AM on Wednesday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gerry Redman, Mark Redman, Charles "Chuck" Redman, Jr., Scott Foster, and Nathan Parton.
