Charles Lee Hahn, Sr., 93, husband of the late Inez Corley Hahn, passed away August 19, 2026 at his home in Anderson County, Kentucky.

Born in Chaplin, KY on February 19, 1933, Charles Lee was the son of the late Herbert Hahn and Ola Shely Hahn.  Along with his wife and parents, Charles Lee was preceded in death by his siblings, Gilbert Hahn, Thelma Coulter, Phyllis Rea Hahn, Gene Hahn, and Jewell Hahn.

Charles Lee proudly served his country as a Corporal in the U.S. Army. He retired from General Electric in 1990 and, following his retirement, he owned C.L. Hahn Replacement Windows & Repair for several years. A lifelong member of Chaplin Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Charles faithfully served his church as a deacon, elder, and Sunday school superintendent for 32 years. He was also a member of American Legion Post #34. Charles enjoyed many things throughout his life and was especially known for his love of dancing.

Survivors include his children, Charles Lee (Sherry) Hahn, Jr., Kathy Ann Hahn, and Tammy Wynette (Anthony) Stratton, all of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren, Charles Lee Hahn III, Matthew Hahn, Adam Drury, Deborah Brock, Drew Stratton, Katie Dailey, and Chad Stratton; seven great-grandchildren, Max, Holden, Zoe, Eli, Julia, Adam, and Sylvia; and his sister, Marsha Marie Hahn.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Rev. Josh Simpson will officiate the service.  Burial with military honors will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.   Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Friday and after 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.

The American Legion will  conduct a service at 7:30 PM Friday evening.

Serving as pallbearers will be Charles L. Hahn, III, Matthew Hahn, Adam Drury, Brian Greaser, Jimmy Perry, and Chris Whitaker.  Honorary bearers will be Tony Hahn, Shirley Carter, dancing, karaoke and Rook friends.
