Charles Lee Boyd, 75, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 at Bradford Square Nursing Home in Frankfort. He was the husband of the late Doris Anglin Boyd and son of the late Benjamin and Beatrice Sanders Boyd.

Mr. Boyd was born January 26, 1939 in Danville, KY. He was a retired employee of Universal Fasteners, served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly of God.

He is survived by a daughter Linda (Doug) Huffman of Lawrenceburg; a son Marvin Wayne (Ruth) Haeberlin of Richmond; a granddaughter, Becky (Darren) Hawkins of Lawrenceburg; 3 great grandchildren, Jonathan Campbell, Myranda (Cory) Sallee, and Dalton Hawkins; 3 great grandchildren.

Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha West; brother, Benny "Junior" Boyd; and four sisters, Dorothy Rogers, Evelyn Brooks, Trudy Hunt, and Frances Hunt.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday, Sept. 6th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort with military honors. Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm Friday.

Pallbearers will Billy Overstreet, Jonathan Campbell, Cory Sallee, Gary Morrow, Mike Hawkins, and Dalton Hawkins.
