Catherine Taylor Catlett, 98, of Lawrenceburg, wife of the late Orville "Buster" Catlett, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born July 25, 1918 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Custer and Emma Stratton Taylor.

Along with her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by a daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Marcus Cornish and a grandson, Marcus Brent Cornish, and ten siblings, Edna Riley, Artie Moffett, Bessie Moffett, Mattie Williard, Florence Johnson, Gilbert Taylor, Dudley Taylor, Walter Taylor, Edward P. Taylor, and Margaret Gresham.

A former employee of Texas Instruments, Catherine was a member of the Corinth Christian Church and enjoyed gardening, working in flowers and traveling.

Catherine is survived by her daughters, Bobbi Stratton and her husband Wayne and Judy Ruble and her husband Larue, all of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Leslie Stratton Fields, Andy Stratton, Derek (Kim) Ruble, Daniel (Tirissa) Ruble, all of Lawrenceburg; and six great grandchildren, Jaclynn Ruble, Mollie and Lexi Fields, Calvin, Karlee, and Lillian Ruble, a sister Geneva Stepro of Corydon, IN and a brother Henry "Junior" Taylor of Corydon, IN.

The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Catherine's longtime guardian angel, Edith Richardson, for her love and dedication during their mother's last years.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 30th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Claude Waldridge officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 – 2 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Ruble, Daniel Ruble, Jerry Johnson, Roger and Carl Stepro, Wayne Hanks, Coleman Moffett.
