Funeral Service Broadcast for Carolyn Stanton

Carolyn Louise Golden Stanton, age 83, passed away Monday, May 19, 2025 in Lawrenceburg.  Carolyn was born February 24, 1942 in Hinton, OK to the late Oscar Edward Golden and Lucy Curry Golden.

Carolyn was a member of the Church of Christ in El Reno, OK and was known for having a heart of love for everyone.  She was an amazing mom and grandma and loved her family deeply.  She was known for loving to dance and swim in her younger days and her greatest gift was that of cooking.  She was a very talented cook and worked for several restaurants in her lifetime.  Her family can remember all the special dishes she made for them and the pride she took in serving them.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Glenna Jean Stanton and husband Jesse of Richmond, KY, Kenneth Ray Stanton and wife Lisa and Rollan Edward Stanton and wife Kelly, all of Lawrenceburg; a brother, Doyle Lee Golden and wife Faye of St. Joseph, MO; her grandchildren, Christopher Jessee, Ryan Brotherton, Christopher Price, Brittney Coyle, Asia Stanton, Cody Stanton and Sierra Stanton; and nephew and nieces, Virgil Ray Golden, Athena Marie Ellis and Jennifer Nichole Winchell.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. James Driver officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am till time of funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Saturday.

Casket bearers will be Ryan Brotherton, Jesse Hiatt, Chris Jessee, Cody Stanton, Chris Price and Asia Stanton.
