Carolyn Marie (Lonkard) Garnett, 62, wife of 46 years to Ricky Garnett, passed away suddenly Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center – ER. Born July 25, 1955 in Dayton, OH, Carolyn is the daughter of Floyd "George" Lonkard of Sadieville and the late Marie Lifford.

A graduate of Scott County High School, Carolyn worked as a tax preparer for the past 15 years for H&R Block in Lawrenceburg. She attended the Fox Creek Christian Church. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, and MeMaw. She enjoyed setting tobacco, working in her flowers, and mowing her yard in her own certain way.

Along with her husband and father, Carolyn is survived by her four children, Ricky Allen Garnett, Jr. of Lawrenceburg, April Lee Wells of Frankfort, Christopher Ryan Garnett of Lawrenceburg, and Joshua Keith Garnett of Sadieville; six grandchildren, Amber Michelle Wells, Steven Richard Wells, Jr., Tiffany Nicole Wells, Jonathon Lee Wells, Leslie Jordon Garnett, and Carrian Coleman Garnett; two great grandchildren, Adyen Scott Robinson and Travis Robinson; and three brothers, Jimmy Lonkard of Georgetown, Bobby Lonkard of Sadieville, and Floyd Lonkard, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 1 ^st beginning at 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, 701 N. Main St., Lawrenceburg, KY.  Bro. Don Wells will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Holt Family Cemetery, Anderson County, KY.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 – 8 PM.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Allen Garnett, Jr., Ryan Garnett, Steven Wells, Jr., Jay Holt, Donnie Dyer, Matt Dyer, and Cory Jones. Honorary bearers will be Bob Holt and Mack Lay.
