Juanita Carol West Waldridge, 75, wife of Edward Leon Waldridge, Sr., passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021 at the home of her son in Mt. Eden.  Born June 2, 1946 in Lawrenceburg, KY, Carol was the daughter of the late Jesse West and Virginia Priscilla Sayre West.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Wine and a brother, Charles West.

A retired employee of Florida Tile, Carol also worked as an Avon representative for a number of years.  She enjoyed antiques and had booths in peddler's malls in Lawrenceburg, Frankfort and Shelbyville. A member of the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church in Lawrenceburg, she loved singing and playing music.  She formerly was a member of the Country Drifters band.

Including her husband Ed of 58 years, she is survived by her three children, Leon Waldridge of Lawrenceburg, Wanda (Steve L.) Watts and Brent (Renee) Waldridge, both of Mt. Eden; six grandchildren, Valerie (Matt) Lewis, Kelsey (Brian) Isaacs, Steve (Shelbi) Watts, Shane Wilcher, Joshua (Heather) Wilcher, and Cody (Janis) Dean; 11 great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Butch (Brenda) Wine of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, Dec. 3 ^rd at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Pastors Mark Studler, Kenny Robinson and Debbie Peach officiating. Burial will follow in the Best Cemetery in Anderson County, KY.  Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Thursday and after 10 AM Friday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Watts, Matt Lewis, Brian Isaacs, Cody Dean, Joshua Wilcher, and Bradley Ulery.  Honorary bearers will be Arvil McClain, Daril Ulery, Butch Wine, Jim Sayre, Valeri Lewis, Kelsey Isaacs, Shelbi Watts, Shane Wilcher, Heather Farley, and Janis O'Connel.
