Carol Sutherland Service Broadcast

Carol Holt Sutherland, 72, passed away May 26, 2022.  Born in Anderson County on June 1, 1949, Carol was the daughter of the late Kenneth Basil Holt and Rosa Lee Wooldridge Holt.

A 1967 graduate of Anderson High School, Carol worked as a bookkeeper for Bluegrass Stockyards.  She was a member of the Fox Creek Christian Church and enjoyed quilting, setting tobacco, working in flowers, and fishing in Okeechobee, Florida.  Her greatest love was spending time with her family and caring for her pups, Ginger and the late CJ.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Tammy Beasley (husband Patrick) Massie of Lawrenceburg; two grandsons, Tyler and Joshua Massie; step-children Curtis (Shelley) Sutherland, Jackie Lynn (wife Abby) Sutherland, and Jennifer Hatten; a sister, Kathy Wainscott; and two brothers, Robert L. "Bob" (wife Kathy) Holt and David (wife Dana) Holt.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Yvette Michelle Beasley and a sister Wanda Craig.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 2 ^nd at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Don Wells and Ivan Spencer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visit will be Wednesday from 5 – 8 PM.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Stratton, Jay Holt, Brad Holt, Aaron Wainscott, Doug Fannin, and Dylan Holt.
