Carol "Bubba" Hall Celebration of Life LIVE Broadcast

Carol "Bubba" Shrout Hall, age 69, wife of 43 years to Ernest Ray Hall, passed away peacefully Friday, May 15, 2026 at UofL Health Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. Bubba was born September 13, 1956 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Avery Lee Shrout and Thelma Louise Hulette Shrout.

Bubba had a strong faith in Christ and showed this in the simple but beautiful life she lived.

She was a very compassionate caring person, and she showed this through the care she gave to the many children she helped raise and the many senior adults she cared for. With tender love she cared for her horse Splinter and her two huskies Dakota & Gracie.

Including her husband Ray, Bubba is survived by the kids she helped raise, Katrina Campbell (Darrell), of Shelbyville, Jarrod Stratton, of Lawrenceburg, Brandon Wilson, of Lawrenceburg, Kathy Sherman, of Georgetown, Amy McKenzie, of Oak Grove and Kristi McIntosh, of Waddy and a host of other children that she loved deeply. Bubba is also survived by an aunt, Pat Tracy, of Frankfort; Sophia Winchell, who was like a granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; and a lifelong friend Patsy Brown, Lawrenceburg.

Including her parents, Bubba was preceded in death by her siblings, Jimmy Shrout, Avery Shrout, Jr., Sue Ferguson and Bonnie Louise Shrout.

A Celebration of Bubba's life will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday, May 18, 2026 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Alice Birdwhistell officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. till time of service at 6:00 P.M.
