Carol Cornish Service Broadcast

Carol Martin Cornish, 71, wife of the late David Ray Cornish, passed away June 28, 2022 in Danville, KY.  Born in Shelbyville, KY on September 11, 1950, Carol was the daughter of the late Norman Martin and Katherine King Martin.

A retired Lab Technician for Allgood Foods in Lawrenceburg, Carol was an active member of the Alton Christian Church and the Rough & Ready Seniors.  She enjoyed crafting and loved her U.K. Wildcats.

Carol is survived by her children, Christopher Dewayne Cornish (wife Denise) of Danville and Dala Renee Ross (husband Greg) of Richmond.  Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lavada Maddox.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 2, 2022 beginning at 2:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Noal Cotton, Jr. will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Friday and after 11 AM Saturday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Donnie Godbey, Steve Kelley, Keith Gillespie, Jerry Smothers, Clayton Ruble, and Ronnie Thornberry.  Honorary bearers will be members of the Rough & Ready Seniors, Lilly Taylor, Sabrina Coldiron, Susie Bradshaw, Teresa Smothers, and Tammy Bradshaw.

Memorials are suggested to Camp Calvary or Gideon's International.
