Carl D. Sutton Live Broadcast

Carl Davis Sutton, 81, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Signature Healthcare at Heritage Hall in Lawrenceburg.  Born in Anderson County, KY on October 7, 1942, Carl was the son of George Davis Sutton and Ida Azel Robinson Sutton.

Along with his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jean Darnell Sutton, a daughter-in-law, Tina Sutton, and siblings, Harvey Lee Sutton, Bobby C. Sutton, and Fred M. Sutton.

Carl worked as a mechanic at the KY State Police garage and retired as a security officer for the KY State Police special law enforcement.  He was a member of the Westside Community Church in Lawrenceburg and the Moose Lodge #2417 in Okeechobee, FL.  Carl enjoyed fishing and watching University of Kentucky basketball.

Carl is survived by his sons, William D. Sutton and his wife Carrie of Owenton and Mike Sutton of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and his siblings, Jerry W. (Shirley) Sutton of Lawrenceburg, Joyce Perry of Lawrenceburg, and Ann Hendren of Florida.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 11 am – 1 pm followed by the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Terry Mattingly will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
