Funeral Service Broadcast for Carl D. Horseman

Carl Davis Horseman, 82, husband of the late Kay Frederick Horseman, passed away February 16, 2025 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born in Paris, KY on July 30, 1942, Carl was the son of the late Carl Raymond Horseman and Jessie Mildred Davis Horseman.

Along with his wife and parents, Carl was preceded in death by two brothers, David Edgington and Forrest Nelson Horseman.

Carl served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and most recently worked 18 years as a bus driver for the Anderson County Board of Education.  Carl was well known for his work as a carpet installer.  He formerly owned Horseman Flooring, co-owned Whitehorse Flooring, and Little Angels Daycare.  Carl was a life member of the VFW and an avid collector of numerous items.

Carl is survived by his three children, Tanya K. (husband Scot) Jefferies, David R. Horseman, and Brandon D. (wife Bri) Horseman, all of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Ashley (Brian) McConathy, Stephanie (J.J.) Horn, Kayla (Richard) Weldon, Bethany Tedrow, Kaydee Horseman, Sarah Horseman, McKoda Wheeler, Judith Barbee, Tony Barbee, Carson Brand, Jared Jefferies, and Dante Lawson; 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Brenda) Edgington; and his partner, Sandy Dews.

Visitation will be held from 11 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm Friday, February 21, 2025 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Pastor Rodney Stewart-Wilcox will officiate the service.  Burial with military honors will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Carl's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary bearers will be Donald Edgington, Philip Horseman, Mike Dynes, Price Watkins, and Brian Edgington.
