Burnard Asmen Stewart, Jr., 69, of Lawrenceburg, husband of 51 years to Estella Ann Brumback Stewart, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born January 27, 1947 in Mercer County the son of the late Burnard Asmen Stewart, Sr. and Cornelia Beasley.

Junior formerly worked as a truck driver for the Franklin County Road Department. He served his Savior as an Evangelist and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Willisburg. He enjoyed U.K. Basketball and dirt track car racing.

Along with his wife, he is survived by two sons, Tim Stewart and Tony (Donna) Stewart of Lawrenceburg, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, a brother, Stanley Ray Stewart of Lawrenceburg, and two sisters, Rose Lewis of IN and Reva Beagle of Lawrenceburg. Including his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Roy Allen "Mouchie" Stewart and a sister Bonnie Aldridge.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 13th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Mercer County. Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kelly Cornish, Randy Thompson, Billy Thompson, Steve Carmickle, Justin Aldridge, and Richard Proffett.
