Funeral Service Broadcast for Buddy "Red" Evans

Buddy "Red" Evans, 68, passed away February 12, 2024 at his home, in Lawrenceburg. Born in Frankfort, KY on October 5, 1955, Buddy was the son of the late Clinton Edward Evans and Mary Elizabeth Montgomery Evans.

Buddy lived his entire life in Lawrenceburg, he attended Western Anderson High School. He retired as a Vinyl Siding Contractor in 2023. His favorite thing to do was spend time with family and friends doing many different things, but his favorites were hosting cookouts, playing pool and horse shoes, watching UK Basketball, and camping. He was described by his family as an outdoorsman who always had a smile on his face.

Buddy is survived by his two children; Ashley Evans of Frankfort and Buddy Evans, Jr. of Harrodsburg; two grandchildren, Austin Evans and Caitlyn Evans; two great grandchildren, Levi Hemze and Carter Hemze; siblings, Carlotta (Willis) Hatchett, Clinton Edward (Shirley) Evans, Jr., Donnie Evans, Leon (Terri) Evans, Deborah (and the late Melvin) Hobbs, and the late Brenda Perry & Connie Kinder; Niece, Tammy (Raymond) Tinsley and several other nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ricky Fultz, Shawn Slayton, and Tyler Wilson.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 P.M. Friday, February 16, 2024 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Rev. James Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. till time of service at 12:00 P.M.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Fultz, Austin Evans, Shawn Slayton, Raymond Tinsley, Tyler Wilson, and Barron Hawkins.
