William Warren "Bub" Hyatt, 94, passed away October 10, 2021 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY.  Born May 27, 1927 in Anderson County, Bub was the son of the late Jess Hyatt and Nell Redman Hyatt Austin.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Nina Pearl Sea Hyatt, a son, Steven Warren Hyatt, and his siblings, Jess Allen Hyatt, Guy Hyatt, and Elsie Lee Hyatt Corn.

Bub served his county in the U.S. Navy during the W.W. II era.  A retired employee of the Ford Motor Company, he formerly was the owner of the Fox Creek General Store, a Rand McNally employee, and an avid farmer.  He was a member of the Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church, the Fisher of Men Sunday School Class, and the Anderson Masonic Lodge #90 where he served as a Third Degree Master Mason and Past Chaplain.  "We all know there's coon hounds in Heaven."

Survivors include his children, Judy Gail Penwell of Frankfort, William Kieth Hyatt and Dana Kay Lyens, both of Lawrenceburg; 8 grandchildren, Terry (Leslie) Duckwall, Stephanie (Gene) Horn, William "Billy" Hyatt, Jr., Benjamin Shepard, Brandy (James) Smith, Tonya Lyens, Zachary Penwell, and Tiffany Lyens; 13 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service with Military Honors and Masonic Rites will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 14 ^th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating.  Visitation will be prior to the service on Thursday from 12 noon – 2 PM.  According to Mr. Hyatt's request cremation will follow the services.
