Bruce Lee Wade, Jr., 87, went to be with the Lord on June 30, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Faye Wade, and was the son of the late, Mattie Case and Bruce Lee Wade.

Bruce loved farming and had a Grade A Dairy for 60 years. He raised corn, tobacco, and beef cattle, and received several awards for farming. He was magistrate of the second district and was over the county zoning for a time.

Bruce was a gentle and kind man, but first of all, he was a Christian. He was a former deacon at the Fox Creek Christian Church, and later in life became a member of the First Baptist Church.

Bruce loved and enjoyed his pets and animals very much. His hobbies were being a carpenter and inventing things for his farm. He also enjoyed fishing and was an avid U.K. Basketball fan. Bruce and Faye both enjoyed traveling.

Including his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his first wife and Wayne's mother, Evelyn Gibson Wade, who passed away at 44 years of age; and a step granddaughter, Jill Marie Evans.

He is survived by a son, Wayne Wade and his wife Deidrea; a granddaughter, Maddie Mae Wade; two stepdaughters, Susan Sea and Donna Riley (her husband Timmy); a step granddaughter, Kristie Lee Evans; a step great granddaughter, Mikayla Watts; a step great grandson, Garet Watts; and numerous cousins.

A private family service will be held at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Harold Case, Todd Bryant, Gary Sutherland L.B. Case, Tony Dean and Luke Hawkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Anderson County Humane Society, P.O. Box 494, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342 and First Baptist Church, "From the Heart," 111 N. Main St., Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
